KHIDMATH ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE, run by Thirunnavaya Educational and Charitable Trust was established in May, 2005 as a self-financing College affiliated to the University of calicut. The College completed 18 years of its academic journey. It has emerged as one of the premier institutions of higher learning in this locality. At present, Seven degree programmes and one post graduate programme are offered at the College catering to the higher educational needs of around 921 students. It is situated at Pattarnadakkavu,about 2 km from Thirunnavaya Railway station, 6 km from NH 17 Puthanathani, 12 km from Tirur Railway station and 42 Km from Calicut University Campus. The College is on the backdrops of the Pallar Lake, famous for Lotus cultivation. Khidmath campus provides a pleasant ambience for teaching learning activities and a special care for moral standard of the students.

In 2021, Luva was recognized as the EnVisioneer of the Year by Danfoss, a global supplier of energy-efficient solutions, for developing innovative energy savings systems. Sheridan uses pre-engineered, factory-built energy transfer stations (ETS) in its recently upgraded district heating system.
We reduced our annual natural gas consumption by more than 280,000m3 — which equates to an annual greenhouse gas emission reduction of 530 metric tonnes.
